Head of Reward and Recognition Working with the Group People & Sustainability Leadership Team, you will set strategic priorities, inputting into the management and delivery of a People and Sustainability function.
Act as a key 'People' stakeholder to drive the implementation of a new ERP system on behalf of the Group People & Sustainability function, in collaboration with Group Finance and other colleagues as the system is developed and operationalised.
Lead and implement a refreshed and targeted reward strategy and system, which is reflective of our culture, position in the market, and fosters a robust performance management culture. This will include: developing the change and communication plan, salary benchmarking clearly aligned to career pathways and job architecture, pension and benefits review, and annual compensation cycle.
Collaborate with other COEs and business stakeholders to drive development of talent acquisition and retention as a strategic priority.
Collaborate with the Group People and Sustainability to support the senior executive portfolio, ensuring total rewards align with talent strategy and are in line with senior remuneration policy.
Act as a trusted advisor, providing expert advice and guidance in all matters related to compensation and benefits, making recommendations to leadership and P&S regarding plans that require review to drive efficiency and cost-effectiveness where appropriate.
Keep up to date and interpret new legal, regulatory, compliance, and market developments with respect to Reward and Pensions, making recommendations where plans or policies may need review (e.g. Gender pay, IORPS, auto-enrolment).
Prepare and present high-quality reward-related papers and presentations suitable for senior leadership and governance committees.
Ensure compliance with reward regulation and governance in line with relevant frameworks, including documenting policies and procedures, system configuration, and testing.
Provide leadership and direction on internal and external audits, Financial Statements, and Annual Reporting.
Drive continuous improvement by identifying and implementing process initiatives to streamline activities, remove duplication, and bring synergies and efficiencies to the People and Sustainability function.
Skills, Education & Knowledge: Proven total reward expertise encompassing strategic design formulation through to operational execution and embedding within the business.
Strong numerical, verbal, and written communication skills.
Experience in managing outsourced providers including pensions, benefits, and payroll.
Thorough understanding of Irish employment legislation and awareness of HR best practices.
Experience using HR management systems.
Demonstrable responsiveness in the design and implementation of compensation and benefits structures in line with emerging legislation.
Minimum 5 years' experience in a Senior Reward position, ideally from financial services or banking industries.
Minimum 10 years HR experience in a mid to senior level role within Reward or another HR specialism.
CIPD qualified.
Third level degree in Human Resources, Finance, or a business-related discipline.
