What you'll do:Drive and promote a positive safety culture through the activities outlined within this Job Description.Review and implement policies and procedures for Health, Safety & Quality for contracts, ensuring all personnel understand and are trained to carry out their responsibilities.Provide competent and best practice advice on Health, Safety & Quality issues across all service lines.Promote and develop a safety & quality culture to secure effective implementation of policy, procedures, and responsibilities throughout Sodexo's operational delivery.Assist with the development of relevant training plans to ensure employees are competent from a Health, Safety & Quality perspective.Monitor the production and review of risk assessments and associated safe work practices.Undertake regular Health & Safety walks, inspections, and audits of units and report findings.Ensure timely reporting and investigation of accidents and near misses to legislative standards.Maintain appropriate relationships with the HSEQ team and Head of Quality, Health & Safety, and statutory authorities.What you bring:Diploma or equivalent qualification in occupational health and safety.Excellent communication and presentation skills.Broad commercial experience and business acumen.Experience in risk management and business continuity planning.Experience in quality and lab management.Articulate and able to confidently present to all levels of management and colleagues.Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.Ability to work outside of normal hours if an emergency situation arises.What we offer:Working with Sodexo is more than a job; it's a chance to be part of something greater.
