Job role: Health and Safety Manager – Dublin
This company, long established and well-regarded within the construction industry across Ireland and the UK, is looking to recruit a H&S manager for the greater Dublin and Leinster area.
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated H&S professional to take a leading position within a growing organisation. As a H&S manager, you will be dealing with a mix of commercial, pharmaceutical, mixed-use, and residential projects.
The company prides itself on its H&S record.
Day-to-day Responsibilities: Provide regular safety training, including creating and implementing organisational safety guidelines.Ensure that all accidents are reported, recorded, investigated, and appropriate actions are taken to ensure that they do not happen again.Enforce safety regulations into the work environment.Work closely with construction managers, workers, and external health and safety bodies to maintain a safe working environment.Conduct regular safety audits.Offer guidance, instruction, and advice on all health and safety matters to management, safety representatives, and employees, including sub-contractors as necessary.Ensure equipment is installed safely, manage and organise the safe disposal of hazardous substances.Manage and delegate work to the safety team.Keep a focus on health and safety within the business, including health and safety in business discussions.Develop a positive health and safety culture.Ensure safe working procedures are implemented.Skills and qualifications: Recognised health and safety degree or diploma.6+ years' experience.Strong communication and leadership skills.Ability to work as part of a team.Location: Dublin
