Role Overview: As a Health & Safety Officer, you will play a crucial role in upholding the highest safety standards across various construction sites, including specialized medical environments.
Your responsibilities will include: • Developing, implementing, and overseeing health and safety policies and procedures.
• Conducting risk assessments, safety audits, and site inspections.
• Providing training and guidance on safe working practices.
• Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Promoting a strong safety culture within the company.
• Working closely with project managers to address and resolve health and safety issues.
What We're Looking For: • A relevant third-level qualification in Health and Safety or a related field.
• A minimum of 2 years' experience in a health and safety role, ideally within the medical construction sector but open to other relevant sectors.
• Comprehensive knowledge of health and safety legislation and best practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• The ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• A proactive and detail-oriented approach to health and safety management.
