Clinical Teams are based throughout the catchment area operating clinics in Tallaght, Rathgar, Dun Laoghaire, Bray, Wicklow town and Arklow.
Cluain Mhuire is a national center of innovation in public mental health service provision delivering a community based adult mental health service for the South East Coast of Co. Dublin to a catchment area of some 182,000 people approximately. In addition to general adult mental health services, Cluain Mhuire provides early intervention in psychosis, ADHD, gender and general hospital mental health services.

Role Summary The Health, Safety & Clinical Risk Officer will be responsible for the development and implementation of the Health, Safety & Clinical Risk Management and Regulation Programme for Saint John of God Community Mental Health Services, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and regulations. Minimum Requirements The successful applicant will: have obtained a recognised, relevant and validated qualification have a minimum of 3 years relevant experience have demonstrable working knowledge of Health and Safety legislation and Guidance.
have excellent administrative and communications skills with proven track record of working with a variety key stakeholders. have demonstrable experience of the application and implementation of safety standards, risk management, regulations and procedures in a large organisation and be responsible for the Saint John of God Health, Safety & Clinical Risk Regulation Programme ensuring a safe environment for patients, visitors and staff in compliance with safety, health, welfare regulation which supports the needs of St John of God Community Mental Health Services.
have access to their own transport and have a full clean driving licence Remuneration Salary Grade 0574 Grade VI (Clerical) on the Consolidated HSE Pay Scale €55,644 - €67,981 per annum pro rata Initial location The initial location of this role is Lucena Clinic, Rathgar. However, you will be required, from time to time, to work at SJOG CS's other places of business or/and the premises of such associated s companies or organisations as SJOG CS may require.
You will be given as much notice of any such change of place of work as is reasonably practicable.
