Role Overview: As a Health & Safety Officer, you will play a crucial role in upholding the highest safety standards across various construction sites, including specialised medical environments.
Your responsibilities will include: Developing, implementing, and overseeing health and safety policies and procedures.
Conducting risk assessments, safety audits, and site inspections.
Providing training and guidance on safe working practices.
Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
Promoting a strong safety culture within the company.
Working closely with project managers to address and resolve health and safety issues.
What We're Looking For: A relevant third-level qualification in Health and Safety or a related field.
A minimum of 2 years' experience in a health and safety role, ideally within the medical construction sector but open to other relevant sectors.
Comprehensive knowledge of health and safety legislation and best practices.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
The ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
A proactive and detail-oriented approach to health and safety management.
