Hotel Operations Manager We are seeking a driven and passionate Hotel Operations Manager to oversee the seamless day-to-day operations of our renowned 5-star luxury property, The Europe Hotel & Resort.
This leadership role is pivotal in maintaining exceptional service standards, ensuring guest satisfaction, and driving the strategic development of the hotel.
About the Role: The Hotel Operations Manager will lead and coordinate key departments, including accommodation, food and beverage, reception, conference and banqueting, and the spa.
This is a highly visible, front-of-house role, where you will work alongside the team daily, with a strong emphasis on food and beverage operations.
This position is especially well-suited for candidates with a background in high volume duty management, conference and banqueting, looking to make a lasting impact in a dynamic and luxurious environment.
Key Responsibilities: Ensure each department consistently delivers the highest standard of guest service, maximizing satisfaction and profitabilityOversee quality, cleanliness, and adherence to operational standards across all hotel areasLead by example, fostering a culture of excellence in guest care, teamwork, and collaborationConduct routine one-to-one meetings with Heads of Departments (HODs) to review performance, guest feedback, and operational mattersDeputize for the Managing Director as required, attending meetings and representing the hotel with professionalismMonitor departmental compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and health and safety regulationsRespond promptly to guest feedback and operational challenges, ensuring swift resolution and maintaining our reputation for excellenceConduct regular inspections to ensure consistency in service delivery, cleanliness, and employee presentationDrive profitability by identifying opportunities for up-selling and cost managementRoster and actively participate in Duty Management shifts daily, remaining available to staff and guestsWhat We Are Looking For: A proven track record of leadership in luxury hotel operationsAt least 4 years of experience in a senior management role within a high-volume accommodation and conference/banqueting settingExceptional attention to detail, personal presentation, and commitment to maintaining the highest standardsStrong communication, decision-making, and problem-solving skillsA natural ability to motivate and lead teams with a hands-on approachFlexibility to work varied hours, including evenings and weekendsWhy Join Us?
