Reservations Agent: An Excellent Opportunity presents itself here in the Aloft Dublin City Hotel.
Commencing August 2024, we are recruiting for a Reservations Agent for the hotel.

Objective of the Role: The Reservations Agent will be responsible for day-to-day reservations inputting, working closely with the Revenue & Reservations Manager to ensure standards and procedures are in line with company policy.
They will continuously seek to improve efficiency and effectively manage guest and customer inquiries.
This role will require close collaboration with both the Revenue and Reception teams to ensure a seamless level of reservation delivery.
Main Duties and Responsibilities: Customer Service: To handle all reservations enquiries and bookings in a prompt and efficient manner.
Administration: Prepare relevant departmental reports together with your line manager wherever required.
To ensure that reservations data is entered accurately at all times.
To ensure that hotel procedures are followed at all times.
Up-selling: to actively seek to enhance the guest experience and gain revenue by up-selling at every possible opportunity.
Communication: To communicate effectively with all relevant departments including data entry to ensure guests requests are met.
Requirements for the Role: Relevant Hospitality experience in Front Office/Reservations.
Demonstrable experience in a similar role.
Knowledge of Opera PMS is preferred.
Previous experience in a Marriott Property highly desirable.
Working Hours are Monday to Saturday with hours varying between 08:30 to 19:00.
Excellent communication skills.
A strong level of English, both oral and written is required.
Be able to work on your own initiative.
Have a common sense approach.
