Position Overview CRH is looking for a HR Administrator to join the People Services Team as a Human Resources Administrator on a permanent contract. The successful candidate will manage the day to day HR operational tasks and provide guidance and an advisory service to our managers and employees based in Amsterdam and Dublin. You'll be working in partnership with the Payroll Specialists in both locations, HR Business Partners, the wider HR team, management and other key internal stakeholders. This opportunity will enable you to join the head office of our well-established global organisation. The role reports to the People Services Manager in Dublin.
Your Key Tasks and Responsibilities: Working closely with the Payroll Specialists to manage the smooth execution of the monthly payroll instructions and seeking relevant management approvals where required.Acting as the point of contact for external vendors (health insurance, flu vaccine, banking, pensions etc.) and managing the associated administration.Proactively handling operational tasks such as work permit applications, promotions, transfers, restructures, internal communications, leavers and exit interviews, including inputting accurate people data to our HRIS and auditing for accuracy.Providing ongoing support to employees with pension changes and various documentation that may be requested.Assisting with the onboarding process by issuing employment contracts and on-boarding documentation through DocuSign or Bamboo, our HRIS.Scheduling and facilitating smooth new hire on-boarding process, coordinating with cross-functional departments to deliver an exceptional first-day experience.Collaborating in audit processes and ensuring CRH maintains full compliance.Acting as an agent for change and driving continuous improvement and enhancements of HR processes, procedures and systems to ensure effective and efficient service delivery.Supporting various HR projects and initiatives.Minimum Requirements: 1-2 years' experience working in a fast-paced HR environment.Previous experience in data analysis an advantage.Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, or a related field.Intermediate knowledge of Excel, Word, MS Outlook and PDF are essential.Demonstrable skill in attention to detail.Well-developed communication skills with ability to communicate to all levels with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.Effective interpersonal and management skills.Ability to be flexible and adaptable in approach to work, with the ability to multi-task.Highly organised with the ability to prioritise.Process improvement mindset.Team player.What CRH Offers You A culture that values opportunity for growth, development, and internal promotion.
