Jabil EMS (Electronic Manufacturing Services) based in Blanchardstown, Dublin 15 are currently recruiting for an experienced HR Business Partner to provide a broad range of HR support to the business.
This is a 6-months fixed term role (maternity cover)
Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Provides partnership, leadership, direction, counsel and expertise to enable business and its leaders
Aligning HR strategies with business objectives, being held accountable for HR results and partnering with business to understand and support needs and requirements
Build effective, trustworthy and dynamic relationships with stakeholders whilst building morale and increasing employee engagement within Jabil
Support and drive the end to end recruitment and selection process, ensuring best practice whilst sourcing the highest calibre candidates
Preparation of payroll information for finance
Analyse trends and metrics for the HR department and implement improvements where necessary
Strengthen the business's ability to lead organizational change by bringing proven best practices to help Jabil leaders achieve sustainable results. Create strong, internal customer relationships, becoming their trusted partner and advisor on communication and change management issues
Manage investigations, disciplinary and grievance meetings, ensuring fair procedure and compliance with legislation and internal procedures
Assisting in the development & implementation of policies & procedures when required or to adapt to legislative changes
Assisting HR Manager in the implementation of HR initiatives & projects
Understanding the talent needs inside the organization to support business needs
Coach and mentor high potential and high professional employees as part of the organization's focus on talent development; including identifying talent issues before they impact the business
Leverage existing HR resources to ensure delivery of timely, relevant and efficient HR operations
Work and communicate effectively across HR and the functional organization
Assist in building a strong organizational culture
Ensure compliance with all pertinent HR-related laws and regulations
Create and facilitate HR presentations for various stakeholders to generate awareness and buy-in
May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Minimum Requirements: Degree in HR or related field essential, may substitute relevant experience in lieu of educational requirement
5+ years' experience preferably in the manufacturing industry
CIPD membership desirable but not essential
Good understanding of Irish employment law
Ability to work independently and within a team environment
Flexibility in adapting to a non-routine and fast-paced environment
Experience in and ability to communicate, business partner and facilitate multiple areas of the business at the same time
Demonstrated ability to drive major initiatives and influence decision makers at all levels
Strong planning & organisational skills and attention to detail
Proficiency in the English language is a requirement alongside eligibility to work in Ireland
Proven ability to meet deadlines.
A "can do" work ethic with excellent problem-solving skills
Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, email management systems, online chat and ability to learn in-house systems quickly
