HR Director, EMEA   Location:  Dublin, Ireland (Hybrid/Office-based)     Position Summary:   The Director, Colleague Relations (HR), EMEA is a full-time role that will report to our VP of Colleague Success Operations.
You will lead a team of professionals to coach colleagues, managers, leaders, and other cross-functional teams within and outside of the Colleague Success (HR) organization on matters related to employment, compliance and investigations, exit and termination management, conflict resolutions, performance management and other employment aspects along the colleague journey based on local legislation.
In this leadership position, you will be accountable for compliance within the EMEA region, including successfully representing Bentley to complete regulatory requirements, audits, and legal actions.
Your Day to Day:   Ensure compliance with all regulatory and legislative requirements within EMEA.
Work across the team to implement solutions to reduce legal risks.
Maintain expertise in and advise senior leadership on legal requirements related to?day-to-day management of regulatory compliance in the EMEA region.
Lead your team to coach and counsel managers and leaders across Bentley on compliance matters for successful outcomes for the company and our colleagues.
Oversee execution of investigations in accordance with local and regional legislation and internal policies and procedures.
Ensure success of colleague relations function, and that colleagues are treated fairly and with respect.
Collaborate with other members of the Colleague Success team such as Colleague Services (HRSS), Colleague Success Business Partners (HRBP), Total Rewards, Talent Acquisition, and other Centers of Excellence, and ensure team does the same, to create efficiencies and provide support and guidance where needed.
Collaborate with other cross-functional teams at Bentley such as Legal, Compliance, Finance, Facilities, Digital Experience, and more to ensure overall compliance and colleague relations in region.
Manage relationships with external compliance vendors.
Lead team to participate in audits to successful conclusions.
Lead internal audits and adjust policies and procedures accordingly to ensure compliance with all updated legislation in the region.
Deliver an exceptional colleague experience through simplifying experiences, creating and leveraging templates, utilizing technology, and providing self-service initiatives where possible.
Assume ownership of colleague handbooks in the EMEA region - keeping policies and procedures within and without handbook updated according to overall strategy and local legislation.

Work independently with minimal supervision, in ambiguous situations, and persevere over internal and external barriers to drive resolutions.
Lead the team to make sure team members follow Colleague Relation team's purpose of identifying, advising, and executing on regional employment matters, programs, and activities to ensure compliance across the colleague lifecycle and accelerate Bentley's success.
What You Bring to the Team:   Bachelor's Degree in Employee Relations, HR Management, Employment Law, or relevant degree, training, and/or experience.
10 + years of experience in employee/colleague relations required.
Demonstrated ability to manage a senior HR team and lead your team to an elevated level of performance.
Effective influencing skills to provide resolution of complex and extremely sensitive colleague relations issues.
Knowledge of legislative and compliance requirements, and ability to stay up to date.
Ability to use sound judgment to problem solve, make decisions, and involve necessary individuals at the appropriate time, and to coach team to do the same.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Demonstrated success driving process improvements.
