HR Generalist - 12 months FTC Human Resources | Fixed Term Contract   Who is Mitie?

Job Title: HR Generalist Location: Hybrid/North Dublin Reports to: People Partner Key responsibilities:        Work with the People Director and People team to foster and maintain an open, positive workplace culture.
       Support and conduct investigation meetings related to employee performance such as lateness, absenteeism and other disciplinary issues        Manage the full AWOL (Absent Without Leave) process, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
       Prepare and complete various HR-related documents, including statement of service letters, sick leave letters and PPSN letters.
       Assist with document management tasks, such as uploading to Kefron (document management system).
       Take detailed minutes for meetings, including investigations, disciplinary hearings, Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs), appeals, witness statements and other employee relations (ER) tasks.
       Provide support to the People team during periods of high workload or staff absence, including tasks related to recruitment, administrative duties and preparations for induction sessions.
       Manage and send employee birthday emails to maintain employee engagement and morale.
       Assist with various HR projects.
       Conduct exit interviews to gather feedback and support employee offboarding.
       Take full ownership of employee wellbeing initiatives, including planning and executing monthly activities, wellbeing days and related projects.
       Support HR and Operations during Transfer of Undertakings (TUPE) processes, ensuring smooth transitions and compliance.
       Prepare and issue management information reports to the Mitie business, providing insights and guidance to management on HR statistics and other relevant data.
       Demonstrate flexibility and undertake other duties and required to support the HR team.
  About you:       A HR Graduate or professional looking to develop a career in Human Resources, with a passion for people and organisational growth.
      Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build and maintain positive working relationships across all levels and functions.
      Strong organisational skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities, manage workload effectively and meet deadlines.
      Basic understanding of the hiring process, including recruitment and selection strategies.
      Able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
      Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
