Exciting Opportunity: Country HR Manager/HR Business Partner in Cork A leading organisation in Cork is seeking a talented and dynamic Country HR Manager/HR Business Partner to join their team. This pivotal role is the first point of contact for managers and employees, offering counsel, coaching, and support on HR fundamentals and employee-related questions. Key Responsibilities: Leadership Support: Provide dedicated guidance and coaching to leaders and employees, acting as a trusted advisor to senior leaders to enhance their leadership capabilities, team effectiveness, and business performance. Strategic Contribution: Play a vital role within leadership teams, actively contributing to business decisions and ensuring alignment with business strategy. Data-Driven Insights: Review and analyse business metrics, recommending improvements based on retention and employee experience data. Performance Management: Lead annual and mid-year review processes focused on performance management, talent and career development, talent assessment, acquisition, and retention. Employee Engagement: Assess, create, and implement innovative solutions for employee engagement initiatives. HR Planning: Support the development and implementation of HR plans, including organisational design, workforce planning, succession planning, and skills assessment. Compensation Management: Provide compensation support, including salary planning, promotions, and job re-levelling. Learning Initiatives: Support global and regional learning initiatives on site. HR Strategy Implementation: Develop and coordinate HR strategies, policies, procedures, and resource deployment. Change Management: Facilitate change processes and enhance organisational effectiveness. Legal Compliance: Ensure compliance with legal requirements and manage union relationships effectively. Talent Acquisition: Oversee the talent acquisition process to attract the best candidates efficiently. Best Practices: Implement global and local best practice HR policies to maximise employee engagement and contribution. Job Requirements: Educational Background: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field, or equivalent combination of work and educational experience. Knowledge and Experience: Strong knowledge of Irish labour laws and at least 5 years of professional experience in HR functions such as business partnering, generalist HR (recruiting, training, compensation, benefits), employee development, and performance management. Employee Advocacy: Passionate about advocating for employees and helping them succeed. Approachability: Responsive and approachable, able to connect with employees at all levels. Service Focus: Strong stakeholder service focus with high responsiveness. HR Expertise: Understanding of HR concepts and principles with expertise in areas such as staffing, analytics, and facilitation. Problem-Solving Skills: Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to make independent decisions and manage conflicting priorities in a fast-paced environment. Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and HRIS system reporting and analysis (Workday preferred but not essential). Why Apply?
