Job description: Giraffe Childcare are seeking a HR Officer with experience in Data Analysis to join our Head Office team in Adamstown, Lucan, Co Dublin.
Giraffe Childcare is part of a large multinational childcare service which provides services to parents across the world. Responsibilities: Supporting the development and implementation of HR initiatives and systems Providing guidance on all policies and procedures Support the recruitment processes with data and statistics for trends and patterns Being actively involved in recruitment by preparing job descriptions and managing the hiring process Assisting in performance management and employee evaluation Supporting the management of disciplinary and grievance issues Maintain employee records according to policy and legal requirements Reviewing employment and working conditions to ensure legal compliance Compiling HR data and metrics from the Human Resource information system and payroll outputs Providing ongoing monthly / weekly reports to the HR Manager such as Absenteeism, Turnover, Staff Qualifications, Work Permits, FTE (Staff / Children) Working alongside Management teams to establish business needs Contribute to system decision-making, scoping and arranging HR system projects in support of the overall HR strategy This list is not exhaustive and will be reviewed and added to as the role progresses.
Requirements: HR or Business Psychology Degree 18 months to 3 years in a similar role Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and advanced level of Excel Experience with Industrial Relations Be proactive and able to work in a fast-paced environment Capable of working on own initiative and as part of a team Excellent communication and interpersonal skills both written and verbal Strong attention to detail Must have eligibility to work full-time in the EU Must have full clean driver's licence The successful candidate will be required to attend ongoing Recruitments events in Ireland & across Europe Knowledge of Spanish would be an advantage What Giraffe Offer: Competitive Salary Company phone and laptop provided Childcare Discount should it be applicable Free Parking at sites and office base Permanent Health Insurance and Death in Service cover Opportunities for international travel Further opportunities for development and growth
