Vickerstock are working in partnership with a facilities management firm on the appointment of an HSEQ Advisor.
As a Health and Safety Advisor, you will be responsible for providing Health and Safety support and governance to front line operational teams, across multiple business lines and industries.
You will work as part of the QHSE Department and report directly into the Director of QHSE & Compliance.

Starting salary up to €65k - dependant on experience Contributory pension 21 days annual leave increasing with service to 26 days Company sick pay Staff benefits/discount scheme Employee assistance programme Training and development opportunities Free online doctor consultations In your new role: Provide support and guidance on Health, Safety, Quality, and Environmental compliance to operational teams across all business lines Assist in developing and implementing QHSE initiatives and activities Conduct regular QHSE audits and risk assessments, document findings, and implement corrective actions Investigate accidents and ensure remedial actions are taken Facilitate the implementation, monitoring, and review of the company's integrated QHSE management system and help develop new QHSE procedures Advise front line management on relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations Provide QHSE support and advice to client companies as needed Organise and chair Safety Committee and Safety Representative meetings Assist front line management in drafting and communicating method statements What you will need to succeed: Relevant Health & Safety qualification Health & Safety experience in a similar position A proactive and flexible working approach with the ability to adapt to changing situations and duties - regular travel will be required Experience with investigations, audits, inspections, compiling reports and making recommendations as appropriate Ability to apply best practice to prevent/reduce injury claims and carry out and manage incident investigations Familiarity with regulatory compliance procedures and an ability to interpret relevant legislation High level of communication skills, including written, oral and presentation skills Experienced in working autonomously and within teams in busy environment Full clean driver's license Desirable (it would be great if you have this, but don't worry if you don't): Previous experience working in construction industry For a confidential conversation on how Vickerstock can help support you with your next move, get in touch with Sam Geddis, our Health and Safety Specialist today.
