The main focus of this role is to provide support to the HR function within the business. The role requires strict adherence to internal policy and legislative guidelines while promoting the company's values of We Care, We're Curious, and We Achieve Together.
Responsibilities:Support the HR department with general HR administration, projects, and initiatives like DE&I.Support the HR manager with all Employment Law Grievance & Disciplinary processes for investigations and hearings.Act as a first point of contact for general HR queries and requests.Administer letters/forms to employees in the business.Maintain and update HR shared drive and HRIS employee profile database.Support line managers with the induction, probation, and performance management procedures.Drive continuous improvement through developing good working relationships with managers and employees.Support line managers with the delivery and application of development needs identified during the probation and PDP processes.Support the recruitment department activity as required.Compile and issue induction packs and new hire documentation to new starters, ensuring they have completed the induction documentation.Deliver weekly and monthly reports on department activity.Minimum Requirements:Degree in Human Resources Management.A minimum of 2 years' HR Generalist experience working in a fast-paced HR department.Strong HR administration experience.Solid working knowledge of Irish employment law and best practice.Previous experience supporting the business with employee relations activities, e.g., disciplinary & grievances, employee benefits, and DEI.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Good working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and HRIS systems experience, ideally with IRIS Cascade would be an advantage.Highly organized with excellent attention to detail.Previous experience working within a unionized environment would be an advantage.
