Dublin, under the SD Operations & Maintenance Joint Venture (SD O&M JV).
The joint venture, comprising John Sisk & Son and DRACE Infrastructures, has been involved in the design, delivery, and operation of the wastewater treatment facility since 2006.The successful candidate with have expereience in MCC's , PLC's ,3 phase power , electric motors ,VSD's ,LVGC, Generators , instrumentation, sensors, HMI's- Scada.Responsibilities: Manage all electrical permitting and participate in the production of Risk Assessment and Method Statements and Process Impact PlansEngage with management and maintenance team in work planning and plant improvement.
Carryout preventive maintenance tasks and engage with and help develop on the existing maintenance system Provide effective fault-finding support to commissioning engineers during the commissioning stage of a projectRead, interpret, and modify electrical schematics and document all self-created changes.Adherence to Safety Health & Environmental policies and procedures and carry out all tasks in a safe and controlled manner.Recommend electrical installation ideas and improvementsCarry out and supervise site electrical installations where requiredReview sub-contractor electrical installations and prepare snag listsPrepare and complete Inspection Test Plans (ITPs) and Inspection Test Records (ITRs) before and during installationsCarry out electrical testing and record resultsUndertake manual works such as cable pulling and installation of cable containmentWorking knowledge or instrumentation, such as flowmeter, ultrasonics, water quality measurement monitors, automatic sampling systems etc.Ability to supervise the work of electrical apprenticesUndertake Thermal Imaging tests and report findings with recommendationsRequirements:FETAC Level 6 Electrical CraftCity & Guilds Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical Inspection and Testing / Installation3+ years industry experience (Water/Wastewater Industry preferred).Well organised, have attention to detail, work on their own initiative and be proactiveCompeEX trained beneficialConfined space trained beneficial.Experience in MCC's , PLC's ,3 phase power , electric motors ,VSD's ,LVGC, Generators , instrumentation, sensors, HMI's- Scada.Benefits:Company Van or Car Allowance21 annual leave daysAnd more!Our people are at the heart of our success and our proposition to them is work with purpose, have time for life, build a career with no limits and surround yourself with great people.Our Internal Recruitment Team fulfil all vacancies on a direct basis.
