The Insights and Pricing Manager will be responsible for driving revenue and optimizing customer experiences, with a specific focus on pricing strategies for our beneficiaries (customers who have received the gift).
You will lead initiatives to refine pricing models, enhance profitability, and improve customer engagement.
This role will require a deep understanding of pricing dynamics and customer behavior, as well as the ability to influence cross-functional teams and senior leadership with data-driven insights.
Key ResponsibilitiesPricing Leadership: Lead the development and implementation of pricing strategies that maximize profitability across the Beneficiary unit.
Align pricing decisions with the overall business strategy and market trends.Customer Insights and Pricing: Build, refine, and own models to understand customer behaviour and product economics to drive increases in revenue, conversion, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.Collaborate with the Product team to understand who our customers are, how they engage with the product, identify pain points and opportunities, and test new features to aid rapid product iterations.Marketing Optimization: Work with Marketing to design and implement a segmented, multi-channel strategy to maximise growth.Support the Beneficiary CRM team by defining target audiences, monitoring A/B tests, and recommending promotional offers.Build and own a lifetime value model for investment decisions.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders across Product, Marketing, Operations, and Technology to drive the success of the Beneficiary Business Unit.
Ensure alignment on pricing strategies and customer experience initiatives.Performance Tracking and Reporting: Oversee the development and maintenance of reporting to monitor pricing performance, product profitability, and customer satisfaction.
Provide strategic insights and actionable recommendations based on data analysis.Market and Competitor Analysis: Conduct in-depth market analysis to understand competitive positioning.
Use insights to inform models and recommendations.Customer Segmentation and Pricing Optimization: Lead efforts to segment the customer base, developing targeted treatments, pricing strategies, and promotional offers to improve conversion rates and customer lifetime value.Data Strategy and Management: Provide requirements to our data team to ensure all necessary data for analysis on the Beneficiary Unit is suitably structured and accessible.Essential Competencies/SkillsAt least 6 years' experience in analytics, including 3 years focused on pricing strategy, ideally with consumer product or experiences.
E-commerce experience is an advantage.Degree educated: University level qualification preferably in Science, Economics, Data, Accounting, or Mathematics.Experience working in cross-functional teams including marketing and technology preferred.Self-motivated, and willing to get involved across a range of areas to make the product a success.Advanced Analytical Skills: Expertise in building and refining financial models, with a strong understanding of pricing dynamics, customer segmentation, and revenue optimization.Technical Proficiency: Highly skilled in SQL and advanced data technologies, with experience in Power BI or similar tools.
Proficiency in Python or R for advanced modelling is a strong advantage.Proactive: excited to dig into the data to make proactive recommendations on opportunities for growth.Proven problem-solving skills using logical reasoning and analytical methods.Strong business acumen.
Excellent ability to translate complex analytical outputs into clear, simple, and actionable stories.A team player that is passionate about data with strong attention to detail and quality and very curious by nature.Able to promote ideas/solutions with confidence, credibility, and sound business rationale.Actively look for room to improve in the areas of standardisation, automation, and simplification of processes.Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, multitasking, and meeting multiple deadlines.
