Instrumentation Technician

Interpret and comprehend technical manuals and engineering documents related to the project scope. Execute installation work in Ex areas adhering to required standards. Note: Complex training will be provided if necessary. Perform commissioning tasks on installed systems, familiar with SCADA/DCS systems. Identify and correct system and equipment deficiencies. Determine and implement necessary safety measures for ongoing activities. Calibrate and maintain field instrumentation. Test and maintain Fire & Gas (F&G), Emergency Shutdown (ESD), and Control Systems. Maintain accurate inspection and test records to comply with legislation, plant safety, and quality requirements. Requirements and Skills: Craft certificate in Instrumentation (or equivalent qualification). At least 2 years of relevant experience. Experience as an instrumentation lead is a distinct advantage. Excellent communication skills are essential. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. General electrical and instrumentation experience, including motors, control circuits, variable frequency drives, PLC interfacing, wiring, and interlocking. Experience with Foundation Fieldbus is beneficial. Complex Certification preferred, but training will be provided if needed. Proficiency with MS applications and other PC-based software. Ability to meet tight schedules and achieve KPIs as set by management.
