An exciting and close-knit design consultancy in Mullingar is looking for an Intermediate Electrical Engineer to join their team. The company focuses on delivering high-quality electrical design solutions for commercial and residential projects throughout Ireland. The Intermediate Electrical Engineer will play a key role in designing and overseeing electrical systems for commercial and residential projects. This role involves ensuring that all projects meet industry standards, client specifications, and safety regulations. This is an excellent opportunity for a mid-level engineer seeking to advance their career within a supportive and dynamic team, and looking to expand their exposure into the field of client relationship management.
Key Responsibilities: Design and develop electrical systems for commercial and residential buildings, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.Collaborate with architects, engineers, and clients to understand project requirements and deliver effective solutions.Prepare detailed drawings, specifications, and technical reports for electrical installations.Conduct site visits to monitor progress and ensure that designs are being implemented as planned.Provide technical support and mentorship to junior engineers and other team members.Coordinate with contractors and suppliers to ensure timely and successful project delivery.Stay current with industry trends, codes, and best practices to enhance project outcomes.Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.3-5 years of experience in electrical design in the Irish Consultancy sector; experience in Commercial and Residential projects is advantageous.Strong understanding of electrical systems, building codes, and safety standards.Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar tools.Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
