Intermediate Quantity Surveyor

We are hiring an Intermediate Quantity Surveyor to join a well-established and dynamic construction company in Dublin. This role provides an excellent opportunity to develop and enhance your skills in financial and cost management across various projects, including commercial, residential, and infrastructure sectors.

Key Responsibilities: Project Support and Cost Control: Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and monitoring project costs to ensure alignment with financial goals. Procurement and Contract Support: Collaborate with senior surveyors on procurement processes, support bid evaluations, and coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers. Valuations and Payments: Prepare and submit interim valuations, assist with payment applications, and support variation management. Risk Identification: Assist in identifying project risks and work with senior team members to develop mitigation strategies. Client and Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with clients, project managers, and other stakeholders, providing necessary cost reports and updates under the guidance of senior surveyors. Team Collaboration and Learning: Work alongside senior surveyors, learning through active participation and contributing to a collaborative project team. Qualifications and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics, or a related field. 2-4 years of experience in quantity surveying within the construction industry. Familiarity with procurement processes, contract administration, and Irish construction regulations. Strong analytical and communication skills.
