Job DescriptionThis position will be a member of our international tax team which is responsible for managing the direct and indirect tax planning and compliance function in Europe.
The incumbent will work with the Corporate Tax Manager primarily on three components:
Direct tax compliance in the following jurisdictions: Ireland, UK, Germany, Norway, Poland, Spain, Belgium, Sweden, Netherlands, Luxembourg and Lithuania.

Principal Accountabilities:
(1) Tax Compliance
Preparation of corporate tax returns and related compliance for EFS DAC, its branches, subsidiaries, and related group entities including ensuring all preliminary tax obligations for the Group are met
Interest Reporting and Withholding Tax compliance,
Transfer Pricing Compliance (CbyC and related returns)
Stamp Duty Compliance
(2) Tax Accounting
Preparationof work papers for the provisioning process
Preparation of monthly account reconciliations
Preparation of monthly CT journals for Group companies
Assistance with statutory audit provisioning and disclosures
(3) Project Support and Planning
Working with the Corporate Tax Manger to ensure all risk documentation is up to date and in line with the Banks policies.
Assisting with Internal and External Audits
Assisting the Corporate Tax Manager with planning opportunities.
Provide support to Corporate Tax Manager on ad hoc requests.
Knowledge and Experience: Experience/Qualifications 5 + years Tax Experience – CTA or similar
Accounting Experience – accounting qualification an advantage
Industry experience preferred.
Skills/Disposition Ability to work in team environment with multiple disciplines.
Strong analytical skills and experience working with financial software packages
Proactive with a high level of initiative and follow-through
Strong verbal and written communication skills
