The Opportunity Our Finance Internship provides a meaningful, professional, hands-on experience to students with proven academic performance and leadership potential.
We hire students majoring in Finance/Business into our programs based on business needs.
Ideal candidates will combine technical and business knowledge with analytical strength and creative problem-solving abilities.
Abbott's global business enables you to work in a variety of fields, which may involve a number of the following activities:Support the RPA & RDA Program through reporting, project management, and optimizing BOT performanceFacilitate global initiatives for Master Data GovernanceAccounts Payable Operational Excellence Project – Helpdesk intake, invoice processing, vendor reconciliations, and divisional reportingSupport financial operations and work on ad hoc projects assigned by the managerSupport global manufacturing sites with Product Stewardship Program deliverables through data gathering and input into the Compliance Map applicationPrepare procedure updates and manage change ordersOur Finance Internship Program will involve working in one of the following locations based on assignment: Dublin What are we looking for?Eligible applicants should be:Pursuing a third level Undergraduate or Post Graduate Finance/Business Qualification.Excellent communicators, team players and Innovators.Passionate about STEM and interested in pursuing a career in a STEM environment.Candidates should be striving towards a 2.1 Grade in their degree course.Available to commence a 9 or 12 month placement in 2025.Flexibility to be based at one of our sites around IrelandWhat are the benefits and perks of our Internship ProgramCompetitive SalaryHealth InsurancePensionLife InsuranceEmployee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP)Career growth and future opportunities are pillars of our program.
