IT Support Engineer L2 Location: Waterford Contract: 6-Month Contract with Strong Possibility of Permanent Job Summary We are seeking an experienced IT Support Engineer to work onsite with a key client. You will be part of the wider PFH Technology / Ricoh family with access to very strong learning & career pathways. Key Responsibilities Resolve helpdesk calls and be the initial point of contact for support Support PC/laptops/Mobiles both onsite and remote Setup laptops/PCs in office and onsite Desktop Support- supporting, troubleshooting Desktop & Remote Admin- Administering Supporting all levels of Windows Server from 2003 to 2012 Knowledge of Microsoft Technologies, including Exchange 2010 and Server 2008 Providing support for the Citrix, Exchange, Hyper V and VMWare Environment. Rollout/configuration/troubleshooting of various off the shelf and custom software Installation/upgrade/repair of IT hardware and peripherals. Identify trending issues and escalate when required Training and educating end users to help them use IT effectively for their work Liaise with Global IT for tickets escalated above site and chase up for resolution of issues Assist the infrastructure team for ad-hoc work as required Key Platforms Office 365 Citrix, Exchange, Hyper V and VMWare Qualifications IT related degree or relevant qualifications highly desirable Candidates with Microsoft Certifications would prove advantageous Ability to work collaboratively across multiple teams and phases of project delivery. Excellent communication and documentation skills. Experience with IT governance and security policies.
