To strengthen our Digital Forensics & Incident Response team, we are looking for a IT Security Engineer, IT Forensic Analyst, DFIR Analyst, Pentester or similar as a IT Security Incident Responder (m/f/d) We, SySS GmbH, are an IT service company with a focus on IT security testing.
Founded in 1998, we are now the market leader in the field of penetration testing and employ a team of around 175 people at four locations in Tübingen, Frankfurt am Main, Munich and Vienna.
Our work focuses on hacking web applications and IT infrastructures of well-known customers of all sizes and industries, many of whom we have been advising for many years.
YOUR TASKS WITH US As an incident responder, you will take on the role of incident manager for specific security incidents involving our customers.
These range from targeted phishing attacks to the complete compromise of the entire network.
You will conduct workshops, training courses and emergency drills to prepare and further develop the IT landscape and emergency management.
You lead the attack path reconstruction.
As a forensic analyst, you examine devices such as clients, servers and mobile devices for traces of attacks and manipulation.
The spectrum ranges from email fraud to the reverse engineering of malware.
Visiting customers and maintaining networks with colleagues, customers and business partners are a matter of course for you.
You stay on the ball and continuously develop your professional and technical knowledge.
YOUR PROFILE A degree in digital forensics, computer science, IT security, business informatics or a STEM degree program.
(IT security engineer, IT forensic scientist, DFIR analyst, pentester or similar) Great interest and curiosity for IT security and preferably with initial professional experience in pentesting or incident response.
Broad know-how in classic IT technologies and initial experience in working with forensic tools and backing up and restoring data.
Willingness to travel and participate in on-call duty.
This also includes night and weekend assignments.
Professional appearance and good communication skills.
Very good knowledge of German and good written and spoken English.
