Role:Accounts Payable Specialist Location:Ballsbridge, Dublin 4 Company Description Jones Engineeringare a leading engineering services company with a proven track record of high quality, customer focused project delivery for over 130 years.
Our core divisions include Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Sprinkler and Fire Protection.
Some of the other services we provide include, Specialist Lift, Off Site Fabrication, Technical Support Services, Maintenance, Asset Management, BIM (Building Information Modelling) and Geo-Surveying.
We are hiring anAccounts Payable Specialistto join our team in our headquarters in Pembroke Road, Dublin 4.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the Accounts Payable process within a high-volume, multinational environment.
They will join the finance team with responsibility for the accounts payable process across a large number of vendors.
This role will report into the Accounts Manager / Finance Director.
Responsibilities: Process invoices/credit notes and expenses using SAP system.
Dealing with vendor queries in a timely manner.
Completion of vendor reconciliations on a monthly basis.
Preparation of payment proposals for weekly/monthly payment runs.
Process changes to vendor account set up.
Work with purchasing and commercial team to resolve invoice issues.
Ad-hoc projects as required.
Experience & Requirements: Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role.
Third level qualification or equivalent.
Experience in a multinational environment with high invoice volumes.
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
Good team player with a strong willingness to participate and help others.
Strong Excel skills and overall computer skills required.
Experience with construction company preferable.
Experience in implementing an 'invoice processing/workflow system.
