Job DescriptionWe're looking for software engineers who are passionate about embedded systems and keen to apply their expertise to our dynamic team.
Your contributions will be instrumental in advancing our portfolio of communication devices, ensuring we provide our customers with innovative and reliable products.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Work in an Agile/Scrum team to design, implement, and test new two-way radio products and featuresAnalyze software requirements to determine feasibility of design within quality assurance, time and cost constraintsTeamwork in a multi-site, world-wide development environmentUse secure programming practices to create mission critical and reusable softwareParticipation in peer reviewsDevelop intellectual propertyFinding, tracking, and repairing RTOS device software defectsCreate and execute unit, integration, system, load, and acceptance testsContribute to the improvement of existing mature software development processesBasic RequirementsPreferred skills:
Good understanding of C++Experience in real-time embedded softwareStrong communication and problem solving skillsExperience using version control; Git is a plusExperience with Linux is a plusExperience in communications protocols (USB, TCP/IP, BT, LTE, WiFi) is a plusExperience in Test Driven Development is a plusExperience with the use of test equipment such as logic analyzers, serial data analyzers, oscilloscopes etc.)
