Junior It Operations Engineer

Job Description: We are seeking a Junior IT Operations Engineer to join our client's team. The role will be a mix of development, maintenance, and improvements to the IT infrastructure. You will work cross-functionally with different teams to meet the business needs.

Key Responsibilities: Maintain the on-premises servers and cloud infrastructure. Manage virtual machines and resolve operational issues for the development team. Provide daily IT support to internal staff and assist in resolving any technical issues. Design and implement architectural solutions to meet business needs and address existing infrastructure challenges. Knowledge & Experience: (You do not need to have all the skills listed; it is an exhaustive list of nice-to-haves, so anything is a bonus.)

Exposure to Linux-based systems, server management, and cloud infrastructure. Experience or familiarity with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, SQL Server, and MySQL. Strong understanding of web servers like Nginx and Apache. Familiarity with AWS services, networking, and hosting. Knowledge of web development concepts and RESTful APIs. Experience with or knowledge of Windows, CentOS, and Ubuntu environments. Exposure to virtual machines (Hyper-V, VirtualBox, VMware).
