Junior Quantity Surveyor

The Junior Quantity Surveyor will work closely with the Senior Quantity Surveyor and project teams to support the financial aspects of construction projects.
This role involves assisting in cost estimation, budgeting, procurement, and contract management.
The ideal candidate has strong numerical skills, attention to detail, and a desire to grow within the field of quantity surveying.
Key Responsibilities: Assist in preparing cost estimates, budgets, and financial reports for projects.Support the evaluation and procurement of materials, labor, and subcontractor services.Work with project teams to monitor ongoing costs and budget adherence.Conduct on-site measurements and valuations to assess project progress.Help maintain accurate records of project costs, changes, and contract variations.Prepare reports on project profitability and financial performance.Assist in risk assessments related to project finances and manage contingency funds.Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics, or a related field.This role requires 0 experience and will be based all upon the candidates attitude to be taken far.Basic understanding of quantity surveying principles, cost control, and construction project management.Strong numerical skills, with proficiency in MS Excel and other relevant software.Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work as part of a team.Attention to detail and accuracy in managing financial records.Why Join Us?
