BELFAST BASED A leading Investment Bank is seeking a Junior Regulatory Operations Analyst to join their Regulatory Operations Group.
CONTRACT ROLE£150 - £200/day (Umbrella)Initial 12 Month ContractBelfast/Remote (3 days a week on-site) Key Responsibilities: Monitor and test submission data and exceptions/rejections to ensure completeness, accuracy, and timeliness of regulatory reporting obligations Review, design, and enhance key metrics and KPIs for various regulations Collaborate with Operations, Technology, Compliance, Internal Audit, and business units to maintain strong working relationships and support proactive governance Analyze key controls, participate in UAT for future enhancements, and assist with regulatory reporting remediation tasks Partner with Change Management and QA teams to ensure proper issue documentation, testing, and resolution implementation Liaise with internal stakeholders across Business Units, Information Technology, and Compliance Management What We're Looking For: 1-5 years of relevant experience in financial services or regulatory reporting Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience Strong analytical skills with experience in compiling and analyzing large volumes of data Experience with exception-based controls and processing Familiarity with regulatory reporting and risk control environments (preferred) Excellent Microsoft Office skills, particularly in Excel Strong communication skills, both written and verbal Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and perform under pressure Keen attention to detail and sound judgment in decision-making What We Offer: Opportunity to develop a deep understanding of regulatory requirements, particularly SFTR Reporting regulations Exposure to various areas of Capital Markets & Banking and associated products Access to extensive online learning resources Career growth and development opportunities in a global organization Chance to work on both short-term and long-term projects McGregor Boyall is an equal opportunity employer and do not discriminate on any grounds.
