Junior Safety Advisor - Dublin

Our client, who is long established within the construction industry, is looking for a junior H&S advisor to join their team.
This company sees health and safety as a main priority within the work that they endeavour into.
As a Junior Safety Advisor, you will be tasked with managing and maintaining the company's safety by working with the safety team, employees, and managers. This job is Dublin-based and site-based.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:Conducting regular, formal site audits and carrying out inspections as directed by the safety management.Offer guidance, instruction, and advice on all health and safety matters to management, safety representatives, and employees, including sub-contractors as necessary.Aid in the company's vision on maintaining a healthy, incident, and injury-free workplace.Ensure that all accidents are reported, recorded, investigated, and appropriate actions are taken to ensure that they do not happen again.Enforce the implementation of the company's policies and procedures for health, safety, and environmental issues.Conduct regular safety inspections and risk assessments. Develop and implement safety policies and procedures.Manage & maintain employee training records in conjunction with the training department.Ensure equipment is installed safely, manage, and organise the safe disposal of hazardous substances.This is an excellent opportunity for a junior safety advisor looking to take the next step in their career.
