This role would suit:Site based QS looking for a permanent office role or QS with consultancy/client experience looking for a main contracting role: KCM are currently seeking a Quantity Surveyor, office based for an international Tier1 Main Contractor involved mainly in the Design & Build of Data Centers in Europe.
The DC market is growing exponentially worldwide and this position will allow a quantity surveyor or estimator with general building experience to join a team, with significant experience in this sector.
The office base is South Dublin You will workclosely with the Commercial Manager, other Tender Team members and Preconstruction Director The company has specific estimating/tendering/bid management processes in place andthere is no requirement to price projects from first principals.
Working within the team you will issuing enquiries and adjudicating subcontractor/supplier tender quotations Identify and evaluat risk and opportunities,present estimates to senior management for review,Prepare tender and contract documents for submission,investigate and develop value engineering options and liaising with relevant parties on an on-going basis.
