Great National Ballykisteen Golf Hotel is looking for an experienced Kitchen Porter to join our dedicated team.

Key Responsibilities: Maintain the cleanliness of all kitchen areas, ensuring floors are free from debris and spillages at all times.
Follow direction from chefs as required, providing support during service.
Conduct deep cleans of the kitchen according to the established cleaning schedule.
Operate the dishwashing machine, ensuring a steady supply of clean crockery, cutlery, and kitchenware.
Handle heavy-duty pot wash and assist with putting away deliveries and properly storing stock.
Manage food waste, regularly changing bins, and ensuring kitchen equipment is in working order.
Adhere to all food hygiene and health and safety regulations at all times.
Requirements: Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role within a catering or busy kitchen environment preferred.
Strong work ethic with the ability to take initiative.
Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
A personable demeanour and professional presentation.
Experience with cleaning systems and maintaining hygiene standards.
Ability to adapt to new environments, prioritize tasks, and work efficiently under pressure.
Good time management and organisational skills.
Must have valid work permits to work in Ireland with no restrictions.
Work Schedule: This role requires flexibility, with shifts including evenings and weekends.
