Purpose Statement This position primarily assists with all duties relating to Microbiology.
Key Responsibilities: Perform or review Environmental Monitoring at the plant (Microbial, Particulate, Water).Perform or review product testing (Bioburden and Endotoxin).Perform or review product validations.Collect, compile, and analyze data and prepare laboratory reports.Assist in any investigations into out of specification results.Involvement in ordering materials for the laboratory.Maintain 5S standards in the Microbiology laboratory and office area.Support the business with regard to process improvements and quality improvements.Ensure compliance with BSC Cork, Corporate, and Regulatory requirements.Exposure to Bioburden and Endotoxin monitoring.Good team player, organized, accurate, excellent documentation skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Education & Experience: Third level qualification in Science, Microbiology, or related discipline.Ideally 2 years work experience within a GMP environment.Ability to work on own initiative.Strong team player and excellent collaborator.Experience in investigation and problem-solving.About Us At Boston Scientific, you will find a collaborative culture driven by a passion for innovation that keeps us connected on the most essential level.
