Oriel House Hotel are recruiting for experienced laundry attendant/ accommodation assistants/ linen porter for our busy laundry.
Full Time position available.
Overall Job Purpose: Responsible for the laundry room, the laundry attendant will ensure that clean linens are supplied to the entire hotel, as well as other hotels if necessary.
Among the responsibilities include sorting, washing, drying, pressing, and folding clothing and other textile items.
Perform duties of accommodation assistants in their absence and as requested by the Accommodation Manager and Assistant Accommodation Manager.
Responsible for the cleaning and maintaining of guest bedrooms and public areas of the hotel to the highest standards including Bathrooms Stores and Corridors.
Communicate with guests ensuring that their needs are met, and any requests are carried out. Main Responsibilities: Responsible for clean the laundry of clean linens to be supplied to hotel, as well as other hotels At times, Cleaning of bedrooms, corridors, public areas, leisure club, staff quarters will sometimes be required.
What is Required?
Ideal candidate must be capable of working on their own initiative and possess good attention to details.
High level of communicative spoken and written English is required.
Must be capable of following standard operating procedures.
Must be have previous experience.
Hotel laundry experienced preferred but not essential. Must be flexible as weekend and shift work is required.
Must be available up to 32-39 hrs if needed, possibly for weekdays, 9-5 shifts.
Drivers licence desirable.
