OUR CLIENT, A MAJOR IT PLAYER IN CORK WISHES TO RECRUIT A SALES & MARKETING ASSISTANT WITH FLUENT GERMAN
The Sales Assistant is responsible for supporting the activities of the Inside Sales team. The role requires an excellent professional phone manner, customer service skills and attention to detail.
ResponsibilitiesManage inbound email and fax orders and queries, enter new Sales orders into the appropriate system(s)Deal with inbound and outbound calls and e-mail from and to customers, communicating special offers and other promotionsAchieve performance goals while providing an excellent customer experienceCollect customer information, provide product information and direct customers to other resources as required.Execute on selected outbound campaignsMaintain regular communication with Internal Sales repsSkillsCustomer-focused, detailed-oriented, with fluent German and EnglishHas excelled in a customer facing environmentStrong communication skills – adaptive communication and active listeningAbility to maintain a positive attitude in high-stress/fast-paced work environmentPossess a drive for results, demonstrate high degree of drive and determinationAdaptive and flexible to changing technologies, process and environmentsAbility to work and make decisions with minimal supervisionComplex problem solving abilitiesStrong organizational and administration skillsBe a self-starter who is motivated and innovativeAbility to work effectively with other departments and utilise a team approach to accomplishing goals.Experience1-2 years sales experience an advantage, though individuals with a clear customer service focus may be considered.Professional level verbal and written communication skills in English and GermanAbility to provide a great customer experienceExperience with working with cross-functional teamsMust have an interest in working with the latest technology, be computer literate and quickly learn new applications3rd level qualification or equivalent work experience
