Leisure Centre Attendant

Dromoland Castle Hotel is currently recruiting for a Full Time Leisure Centre Attendant working Monday to Friday initially however flexibility may be required to work weekends.
The applicant must be a highly motivated individual with excellent experience.
Please note that a valid lifeguard qualification is an essential requirement for this role however we will review and consider applications if there is an undertaken from applicant to complete lifeguard training.
Overview of Role: Assist with opening and closing the leisure centre; check fire exits, security and assistance required alarms, lights etc Provide high quality customer service to ensure that the service meets the expectations of the leisure centre customers and visitors.
Assist guests using facilities, including instruction in the safe and appropriate use of equipment.
Complete essential and routine cleaning across all of the leisure centre facility.
This includes pool area, gym, changing rooms, toilets, reception, corridors etc.
Also assist with and carry out nonroutine cleaning tasks.
Supervision of Swimming Pools: Ensure customers swim safely within the safety codes and Centre operating procedures.
Working as part of a team in the daily operations of the leisure centre.
Ideal candidate needs to meet the following criteria: Must be fully qualified as a Lifeguard OR must be willing to complete pool lifeguard training.  Must be an interactive person who is a good motivator with a positive can-do attitude.
Experience working in a similar industry.
Must be well organised.
