Job Title: Food Quality Assurance Officer Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Food Quality Assurance Officer to join their team in Ballymount, Dublin.
This role offers the opportunity to contribute to the continuous improvement of food safety standards across their operations.
The successful candidate will work closely with various departments to ensure that HACCP and food safety systems are effectively maintained and adhered to, ensuring a safe environment for all involved.
Benefits Competitive salary Bike to work scheme Employee discount On-site parking Duties: Work with each business area to implement systems ensuring compliance with HACCP and Food Safety standards Visit and assess wholesale, retail, and restaurant areas to maintain HACCP records and ensure food safety systems and related information are current and functioning efficiently Collaborate with departments to remove products when alerts are received Meet with relevant bodies (e.g., HSE) and respond to audits or related requests as needed Stay updated on new legislation and maintain knowledge of Health and Safety Executive (HSE) regulations and industry developments Requirements: Third-level qualification in Occupational Health & Safety Proven experience in food safety in a multi-site environment Strong written and verbal communication skills Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Problem-solving abilities Auditing experience Ability to meet tight deadlines Full clean driver's license Skills: Food Quality Assurance
