As Director of Finance, you will report directly to the Chief Executive Officer and collaborate closely with key leadership, including the Resort Manager, F&B Management, Events & Sales, Executive Head Chef, Director of Golf, and Director of Human Resources.
The role is set to commence in February 2025.

Primary Purpose: The focus of this position is to plan and organise the day-to-day finances of the Company in efficient and effective manner to ensure that the Company fulfils its reporting requirements.
You will also be responsible for ensuring that the financial systems have the capacity and flexibility that will be required to meet the growing financial and information needs of the company.
Key Responsibilities: You will report to and take direction from the Chief Executive Officer.
Your main areas of responsibility will include, but are not confined to: To produce timely, relevant and reliable financial information so as to assist the management teams in fulfilling their responsibilities.
Preparation, analysis and circulation of monthly management accounts in an accurate, reliable and timely manner.
Preparation and presentation of information for quarterly board meetings.
Meeting relevant deadlines, producing supporting documentation for all posted entries as required.
Departmental analysis and control recommendations Daily/Monthly statistical reports as required Cash and Working Capital Management Manage the taxation exposure of the company to VAT, PAYE etc.
Monitoring capital expenditure costs Weekly & Monthly Payroll & Revenue Forecasting Completion of Annual Budget Completion of yearend Financial Statements Producing a year end audit file and managing the annual audit Reviewing the accounts process in different areas, detailing current practices and enhancing system capabilities or introducing new procedures as necessary to deliver quality financial reports Oversee control of fixed assets, stock, debtors, creditors, cash deposits, etc.
Management of IT, Broadband and Telecoms systems.
Managing the Company Insurances.
Identify corporate risk exposure.
Liaise with other departments as necessary to ensure accuracy of relevant information.
Work closely with other members of the accounts/finance team.
Provide support and leadership to relevant team members.
Maintain regular, consistent and professional attendance, punctuality and personal appearance.
Adhere to Health & Safety procedures.
General: The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated individual with excellent attention to detail and a strong commercial awareness.
The successful candidate will also have: A minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role at an Irish hotel or golf resort.

The successful candidate will alsobe highly computer literate with the ability to use multiple software systems.An accountancy qualification is essential, and a high standard of professionalism is required for this role.
