Machine Build Technician

Overview:As a supplier of automation equipment KAON have been providing custom designed automation solutions to leading manufacturing companies globally since 2005 and have a proven track record of providing innovative and flexible solutions.The successful candidate will work on challenging, innovative projects within a highly technical and collaborative working group.The Role: Machine Build TechnicianA critical role to the success of our projects, the required candidate is a highly skilled individual, detail orientated and motivated to achieve the highest standard of work practices.Duties:Mechanical assembly and debug of automated machineryLiaise with the design team on alterations/improvements required during the machine build phaseField wiring/ plumbing of pneumatics and sensorsComplying with company safety policiesMaintaining GMP standardsMeeting project delivery deadlinesOn-site installation of equipmentSkills:Ability to interpret Mechanical, Pneumatic and Electrical drawingsA high degree of mechanical aptitude and skillsAbility to troubleshoot/envision solutionsExcellent communication skillsSelf-starter with good attention to detailExperience/Qualifications:Computer literateGood knowledge of health and safety workplace practicesExperience using 3D CAD applications e.g.
SolidWorksExperience in a similar role an advantageExperience of automated/high volume production an advantageExperience with engineering problem solving tools an advantage (Six Sigma, CPK, 5 Whys etc.
