Maintenance Manager Our Client in the co Roscommon area have a requirement for a Maintenance Manager to join their team on a full time permanent basis.
Call Conor O ' Hagan for more details Excellent Package available depending on experience Flexible starting times - Mon-Friday Days The Role: In the role, the successful candidate will lead the Maintenance Team and assume full responsibility for the effective running of maintenance and engineering developments of the site.
Duties include: Oversee and monitor plant, maintenance, and engineering developments Ensure the safe working practices and conduct of the team, contractors and visitors Ensure all equipment is maintained and operating in compliance with Health & Safety requirements Lead the Engineering Team to achieve targets/KPIs on a daily basis and optimise overall performance in terms of output, quality, costs, etc Planning and scheduling of maintenance works to ensure maximum operational efficiency and minimize downtime Work with equipment suppliers on new equipment and installations and modifications Troubleshooting using PLC programs Closely monitor line and machine performance Coordinate Electrical and Mechanical Trouble shooting as well as Electro-Mechanical repairs Preventative and Predictive maintenance routines Drive correct usage, maintenance and development of all production systems Update the maintenance management system.
Management of Maintenance budget spend on labour and materials The Person: Engineering Qualification At least 2 Years supervisory / management experience within a maintenance department At Least 3 years manufacturing experience preferably with FMCG experience Experience in operating within, and delivering on, the highest quality standards in the manufacturing sector Proven experience of knowing the value of and balancing maintenance and project delivery with production and operational efficiency Experience in a capital project, handling vendors and contractors.
