Maintenance Person

Main purpose of the role:
Ensure all areas of the store are maintained to the highest standards. Health and safety awareness, good communication skills and the ability to work as a team are also very important to perform the role.
The ideal candidate will have/be: Previous maintenance experienceExperience using common work tools (e.g. hammer, drill)Good communication skillsAbility to work in a teamHealth and Safety awarenessStrong attention to detail, organised and flexibleAbility to use own initiative and work as part of a team in a fast-paced environmentMain duties: Actively live SuperValu brand-values i.e. Genuine, Passion for Food, Vibrant, Committed, Innovative and ImaginativePerform and document routine inspection and maintenance activitiesCarry out basic repairs and maintenanceNotify management of deficiencies or need for repair around the storePerform cleaning activities such as dusting, cleaning floors, removal of rubbish etc.Maintain outside area of storeFollow all Health and Safety regulationsPerform any other duties or assume any other responsibilities that may be assigned to you from time to time by managementAbout the locality: This role might suit someone who wishes to work up to 19/20 per week.
