Maintenance Technician

Details of the offer

About the Role: Full-time, permanent position.Day shifts, Monday to Friday.Located in Sligo.Benefits: Competitive salary.22 days annual holiday, plus public holidays.Performance-based bonuses and recognition awards.Pension scheme.Onsite parking.Responsibilities: As a Technician, you will:
Conduct planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on critical production machinery, such as injection moulding machines.Perform both mechanical and electrical troubleshooting across various production lines.Provide support for both planned and unexpected maintenance activities.Maintain optimal machinery efficiency and operational uptime.Carry out periodic safety checks on all equipment.Comply with all health and safety standards, ensuring a clean and orderly work environment.Independently address equipment malfunctions to prevent damage or potential safety issues.Collaborate effectively with the maintenance team to enhance machinery performance and reliability.Requirements: Accredited apprenticeship in Mechanical Fitting, or a degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with industrial maintenance software.Fluent in English with excellent communication skills.Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and keen attention to detail.Capable of both team collaboration and autonomous work.For more details on this role, feel free to reach out to Emma Cawley ****** Kindly note that, given the expected high volume of applications, we can only respond to candidates whose qualifications closely match the specific requirements of the role.
