Management Accountant | Abbott

We are partnering with Abbott to recruit a Management Accountant for their Cootehill, Cavan facility. This site is renowned for producing high-quality infant formulae distributed globally. Join a team dedicated to maintaining the highest standards in manufacturing and innovation.
Key Responsibilities: Complete month-end reporting, ensuring compliance with company and regulatory policies.Provide financial support to various departments to help achieve their goals.Monitor inventory accuracy through physical inventory checks and monthly cycle counts.Assist in internal and external audits, including Sox compliance.Manage and coordinate raw material packing reports.Analyze material usage variances and work with operations teams to implement corrective actions.Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance data accuracy and reduce production costs.Assist in preparing and loading quarterly/yearly financial plans into external systems.Requirements: ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualification with a minimum of 5 years of experience in the manufacturing industry, including 3 years in cost accounting.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Proven experience in financial reporting and compliance.Strong knowledge of inventory management and variance analysis.Ability to support internal and external audits effectively.Why Join Us: Be part of a dynamic team in a globally recognized manufacturing facility.Work in a clean, green environment with a secure supply chain.Contribute to the production of essential nutritional products distributed worldwide.If you are a qualified accountant with a passion for the manufacturing industry and a knack for financial analysis and reporting, we would love to hear from you!
