Description du poste : As bar manager at Park Hotel Kenmare, you will oversee all aspects of our luxurious bar operations, ensuring that guests receive exceptional service and a memorable experience.
You will lead a dedicated team, manage inventory, maintain high standards of hygiene and safety and contribute to the overall profitability of the bar.
Your creativity, leadership and attention to detail will be key in maintaining our reputation as a premier destination for sophisticated drinks and an elegant atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities: Operations Management: Oversee the daily operations of the bar, ensuring smooth service and a high level of guest satisfaction.
Develop and implement standard operating procedures for all bar-related activities.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
Staff Management: Recruit, train, and manage a team of bartenders, servers, and support staff.
Schedule shifts and manage payroll within budgetary constraints.
Foster a positive work environment, promoting teamwork and continuous learning.
Customer Experience: Maintain a welcoming and upscale atmosphere for guests.
Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and feedback with professionalism.
Develop and promote seasonal and signature cocktails, aligning with current trends and guest preferences.
Inventory and Cost Control: Manage the inventory of beverages, glassware, and bar supplies, ensuring optimal stock levels.
Conduct regular stocktaking and order supplies as needed, negotiating with suppliers for the best terms.
Monitor and control costs, including labor, beverages, and supplies, to achieve financial targets.

Proven track record of managing a successful bar operation, including staff management, inventory control, and financial performance.
Cocktail/ mixology experience is preferred.
Whiskey knowledge.
Excellent verbal and written communication.
