Job Description Windmill Nursery is a medium-sized full-day care centre, with 10 staff and 40 children ages 1 to 5 years, located in the countryside with large extensive gardens.
Applicants must have:QQI Level 7 in Childcare preferred – Level 6 minimumMinimum of 3 years managerial experience in a childcare facilityTo provide ongoing support, advice, and information to early years providers and managementTo promote quality development in the setting for children and their familiesTo report back to management on issues that arise within the settingTo give support to staff where needed and support office tasks when neededMust demonstrate high skills in the field of Early Years to promote excellence and quality in our provisionProven ability in developing and delivering guidance on Early Years policies, procedures, and standardsDemonstrate the ability to provide the necessary vision, leadership, and experience to lead staffTo assist the team to implement quality-driven practicesTo meet deadlines as set out by the managementTo assist the management in implementing the company's Health and Safety standardsTo assist the management in implementing the company's Fire safety standardsEnsuring that all staff within the company stay motivated within their rolesTo ensure that the health and wellbeing of staff is maintained to a high standardTo encourage and guide staff through their continued developmentAct as the person in chargeFacilitate inspections and compliance visitsPerson Specifications:Excellent communication skillsFluent in EnglishWork in a non-biased approachCarry themselves in a professional manner at all timesWork well as part of a teamExcellent leadership skillsJob Types:Full-time, Permanent
