Job Title: Manager
Location: Luttrell House Creche, Castleknock, Dublin 15
We are looking for an Early Years Manager to ensure that the service is run in a professional manner. The manager will need to ensure the safety of children and staff. The manager must ensure that the children in our care are cared for in a loving and safe environment in line with the Early Years and School Aged Childcare Regulations.
Job Description:The Manager role is to ensure compliance with all childcare regulations.Ensure all policies and procedures are being fully implemented, monitored, and adhered to at all times.Management and support of all staff within the creche.Ensure that all staff receive regular support and supervision.Ensure staff training needs are identified, responded to and that learning is promoted.Communicate regularly with all staff.Maintain records – attendance, annual leave and sick leave – employees.Conduct Risk Assessments.Complete audits and reports of service.Report to Area Manager and Senior Management Team.Facilitate Monthly staff meetings in house.Report any feedback and concerns to the area manager in a timely manner.Keep up to date records on all staff, timesheets, annual leave, sick leave etc.Ensure the creche is always delivering high quality childcare.Promote the concept of diversity welcoming all families.Always ensure the Safety and Protection of the Children in your care.Promote a work environment of engagement and excellence.Delegate and develop staff where necessary and appropriate.NCS and ECCE Knowledge.Requirements:Professional, competent and experienced manager.Must have a minimum of FETAC Level 5 in Early Childhood Education and Care.HACCAP knowledge.Core Funding and National Programmes knowledge.Better start / AIM Experience.Able to work collaboratively with other managers, Area Managers and Senior Management Team.Excellent IT Skills.Excellent Communication and Team Building Skills.Resilience and Leadership Skills.Build, develop and maintain effective teamwork.Provides clear expectations and instructions.Benefits:Job Security.Career advancement Opportunities internally.Onsite training and Continuous Professional Development.Parking.Employee Initiative Scheme – Refer a Friend Bonus.Salary: Starting €48000.Email: ******
