Job Description & Summary: Our Private Business team specializes in advising privately held large corporates and family businesses, as well as a large number of owner managers and high net worth individuals. Our client base also includes a number of SMEs and large corporates from a broad range of sectors including pharmaceutical, life sciences, retail, asset management, banking, aviation, construction and real estate. We provide solutions based advice in respect of many different business issues and challenges facing our clients by providing innovative solutions to suit their business and personal circumstances. We work as a multi-disciplinary team, utilizing our wide range of experience and capabilities, contacts and the PwC Network to provide a solution for all our client's business needs.
What does this role offer: You will gain a well-rounded, comprehensive experience across the full spectrum of Private Business services. The type of work that the team advises on includes a wide range of corporate tax consultancy, structuring (including domestic and international structuring), M&A advisory transactions for Private businesses, tax efficient financing, business succession planning and personal tax planning (for owner managed enterprises). This is a fantastic opportunity to join a collaborative, energized team who work as a collective to deliver quality experiences to our clients. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to: Be part of and contribute to the collaborative working environment offered by PwC and have an active role in training our junior and senior staff members promoting a learning culture.Bring business knowledge, innovation and insight to create value for clients and the firm.Embrace the digital transformation being undertaken in our business. Being motivated to familiarize yourself with these evolutions and to drive these technologies further in our day-to-day business and that of our clients.Set the tone in promoting risk management and compliance procedures.Directing and driving the success of multiple engagements.Be responsible for managing within budgetary and time constraints while providing a high-level of client satisfaction.About you – Key Competencies & Experience: At least 5 years experience in tax consulting and compliance services, gleaned from a professional tax environment, in practice or in industry.Strong academic record with a degree from any discipline and AITI/CTA qualified.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to understand complex tax matters.Demonstrates success as tax technical business advisor; identifying and addressing client needs, building and maintaining client relationships, communicating value propositions.Business Acumen - use a broad range of tools and techniques to extract insights from current trends in the market and utilize this information to assist your clients in making smart and innovative business decisions.Creative - demonstrate an ability to contribute to new ideas and propose innovative solutions to problems.Enthusiastic team player with a passion to coach and encourage others to achieve their potential.Ambitious – demonstrate strong commitment to personal learning and development.Unlock your potential with PwC Ireland: We believe that challenges are better solved together.
