The Opportunity This is your chance to drive innovation by working on a wide range of international maritime projects providing much-needed infrastructure to support the energy transition while improving coastal resilience against natural hazards and climate change.
You'll play a key role in shaping the future of our maritime consultancy business in the region by collaborating with a talented team and working with prestigious clients.

As a Maritime Engineer at Arup, you will: Undertake design activities for a range of maritime and coastal infrastructure from feasibility stage through to detailed design.Support and guide younger maritime engineers driving forward innovation in the design of maritime infrastructure.Support senior management in the implementation of growth strategy and initiatives for the maritime consultancy in the Europe region.Foster a culture of collaboration and knowledge sharing, working with multidisciplinary teams across Arup offices globally.Does this role inspire you? We're looking for someone who is passionate about marine civil engineering.
You'll also need:
Engineering degree qualified in civil/structural engineering.At least 3 years post-qualification design experience in ports and maritime infrastructure.Experience in early stage design of energy transition-related port infrastructure (wind, hydrogen (ammonia), or liquid carbon) would be an advantage.Two or more years' experience in the Irish/UK market and/or knowledge of one or more European languages would be an advantage.Why Arup?
