The successful candidate will support the Marketing & Communications Director in the development of the marketing strategy and the management of Marketing & Communications plan.Lead Generation and Business Development:Research, qualify, and express interest in potential leads using the company's database and CRM system.Coordinate lead generation strategies, including prospecting and researching potential leads.Marketing and Communications:Develop and maintain marketing materials including presentations, capability statements, brochures, etc.Support the management of the company's online presence, including website maintenance, SEO, social media content, and online advertising.Assist with internal communications, coordinating with HR for branded documents and recruitment materials.Produce the internal newsletter quarterly and develop engaging content to foster company culture for SharePoint platform including monthly H&S awards.Assist with project specific communications for initiatives such as: project newsletters, Considerate Constructor Scheme, milestone events, social media, etc.Coordinate photography for projects and assist with project-specific communications.Coordinate materials and logistics for meetings, industry events etc.Draft and proofread content for social media, project updates, and award submissions.Prequal and Presentation Support:Support the pre-qual process and assist tender team on project detail, case studies, expert profiles, support brochures and the development and maintenance of presentation and submission templates.Supplier and Collateral Management:Manage relationships with key marketing suppliers, overseeing the purchase of marketing collateral.Assist with sponsorship management and promote company partnerships.Coordinate the distribution of marketing materials across all offices.Data Management and Analysis:Maintain and populate the CRM system and ensure all marketing support materials are up-to-date.Conduct competitor research and competitive analysis.EducationA Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, PR, Business, or related field.Professional ExperienceMinimum of 8 years of experience in marketing and communications roles, with a focus on strategy development and plan management.Proven experience in brand management and building brand awareness.Demonstrated success in guiding teams in day-to-day marketing and communications activity.Strong background in digital marketing, including advertising strategies, content creation, and channel development.Experience in managing PR initiatives, multi-channel advertising campaigns, media monitoring, and reputation management.Familiarity with ESG principles and reporting.Previous experience in business development, including lead generation and client presentations.Experience in stakeholder relationship management through satisfaction surveys, communications campaigns, and networking.Familiarity with the construction industry, especially in prequalification processes, is a plus.Skills and CompetenciesExcellent written and verbal communication skills.Strong digital marketing skills, including proficiency in SEO, social media, and online advertising.Expert knowledge in Microsoft Office, and in particular Excel and PowerPoint.Experience in using the Adobe Creative Suite for day-to-day presentations and content creation.Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.Project management skills for overseeing campaigns and initiatives.Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure consistent messaging.Strong leadership skills to guide and mentor the marketing and prequal teams.Analytical skills for measuring and reporting on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns.Relationship-building skills to establish and nurture connections with stakeholders.Terms and ConditionsAn attractive remuneration package inclusive of benefits will be on offer to the selected candidate.
